Following on from their triumphant sell-out gig in Whelan’s earlier this year, REVOLVER will be returning to Dublin on Saturday, January 28^th, 2012, to play the Workman’s Club, and once again show why they are widely considered to be one of the very best Beatle tribute acts in the world.  This four-piece band from Scotland pride themselves on performing live, authentic and accurate representations of a wide range of classic songs from all periods of The Beatles.  Since forming in 2008, REVOLVER have built up an impressive live reputation in Beatle circles by touring the UK, mainland Europe, and even performing in the United States at the Abbey Road on the River Festival.  In recent years they have also become one of the most popular bands to ever play International Beatle Week in Liverpool, and they have already lined up a number of high profile bookings throughout the world for 2012.  Don’t miss this chance to experience the songs of The Beatles played with real passion and skill.

LENNON v McCARTNEY (A very short play!)

Since the dawn of Time human beings have gathered in pubs and argued about who is greater – John Lennon or Paul McCartney.  Now, finally, here at last (and not a moment too soon), is a short play that definitively sorts out the argument once and for all.  Well… sort of…

LENNON v McCARTNEY was performed a number of times on the main stage at the Adelphi in Liverpool at the 2010 International Beatle Week.  It has also been performed at the Scottish Beatles Weekend, the Flat Lake Festival, the Donegal Beatles Festival, the Project Arts Centre, the New Theatre, Whelan’s, the Village, and many other places!  LENNON v McCARTNEY is written and directed by Stephen Kennedy, and performed by Dylan McDonough and Stephen Russell.

NOVASTONE

NOVASTONE are a four–piece Dublin band who are clearly in love with the music of The Beatles.  They recently performed a stunning support slot for John Lennon’s Original Quarrymen at the Village, and we can’t wait to see them play live again at the REVOLVER gig on January 28^th.  If you are a fan of The Beatles – do not miss this great show!
