The Workman’s Club is Dublin’s newest live performance venue, situated at 10 Wellington Quay, beside the world famous rock ‘n’ roll hotel, The Clarence,  in the heart of Dublin’s Temple Bar district.
The Workman’s Club has a simple mission – to provide a space where bands, musicians, artists and independent thinkers can witness their ideas come to life.  From down and dirty rock gigs, to intimate acoustic performances, multimedia takeovers to diverse indie club nights, The Workman’s Club will be a haven for those who create music and those who consume it.
The building has existed on this site for over 160 years and from 1888 to 2003 was  the home of the original Dublin Workingmen’s Club. Its personality has been lovingly preserved and complimented and its original features are the focal point of each floor.
Five parts of The Workman’s Club are now open for your pleasure. The Venue – a 300 capacity belter of a room, The Venue Bar - exclusively for gig goers when there is a show on, The First Floor Bar - open to all and sundry and looks best as it always is; jampacked with dancing revelers, The Rooftop Bar - the perfect inner city oasis for sipping coctails and puffing on hookahs through all seasons, and last but not least The No. 9 Bar - a sleak little numer available for hire for anything your hearts desires! Watch this space, we have a penchant for knocking down walls…especially when there is space to party on the other side!
We are currently open from 6pm ’til very late most nights, 7 days a week!
